Longhorn is code name, The product name is Vista you will not see a third name for windows vista. Just like Windows XP I think was called Whistler (code name).
Just about all companies give there product a code name and then a release name once it's ready for the retail stores or a public beta like you see windows vista.

Who thinks that they'll eliminate Final Cut Express and lower the price of Final Cut Pro? iMovie seems to serve the "express crowd" while FCP would be within reach of the semi-pro demographic if the price were around $300.
That would be a good move, but I'm not convinced Apple would do it. I think it's fairly likely that Final Cut Express goes away, perhaps replaced with mid-priced Final Cut components (ie, pieces of the Final Cut Studio package).
Should know soon enough though (at least on FCP pricing structure; FCE has always lagged behind FCP since it first came out).

You also forgot movies and other content too. I have a 160gb iPod and I filled up over 100GB from video and photos. Some people like to have all of their media with them.

I think iTV will have the feature of showing your Keynote presentations right right there, how easy and cool would that be. Never have to sit at a Mac again to show that presentation, just a few click by with the Apple remote. By the way I am surprised I never heard of this on the internet, it just seems logical to me to be added as a feature.

Flash memory can be used also but it would be better with a hard drive since there is a lot of data and hard drive is still cheaper and also more robust for multiple writes.

Holy eff. What if they changed iMovie's purpose? For managing content (music & movies): iTunes and iMovie. For creating/editing content: Garageband and "Showtime" (or whatever speculated new name that was).

Leopard will be able to run on all macs from the past several years. Vista requires a relatively new machine.
Vista likely will cost much more than Leopard.

That Windows dialog is horrible. Why is there so much info? Are the file size and image dimensions really helping me decided whether or not I want to delete it? And it has the classic Windows "Yes" and "No" buttons (instead of having something useful like Cancel and Delete). If that dialog pops up, you have to squint your eyes and look all over until you see "Delete ..." in the upper left corner, then take a second to make sure "Yes" actually means "Delete". And if you want to cancel, should you hit "No" or the X in the top right?

Not too brag or anything :D but it works out great for us in UK. Get in from work 5.30pm / open a beer / macrumors / keynote 6pm / tears of joy / rob bank 9pm / buy mac pro :D

Why do some people think Steve Jobs doesn't want a movie rental model? Traditionally, music is sold, not rented. Traditionally, movies are rented, not sold. I see jobs pushing this for iTunes. I'm guessing Apple will offer both rental and sales of movies, just like Blockbuster does, but they'll push the rental model, because:
- People don't watch movies over and over like they do songs
- Movies take up a lot of disk space
- People don't want to spend money buying back up drives
- People don't want to spend time burning DVDs
- Renting is cheaper than buying

Though the dock connector didn't fit quite right, the headphone jack is good and everything else is good. I just snipped off the piece that was in the way of the dock connector and now its perfect. Nice for a $3 case. There aren't any watermarks.
The seller was also really, really good. I didn't get the right screen protector with the case but a week later the correct one arrived in the mail without me having to ask! I thought that was really cool of him to send it for free.
As for buying another case I am waiting until I find my "holy grail" maroon case. One will come out eventually.

I forget what channel it was on...History or Discovery or something like that, but I specifically remember them saying that Microsoft lost a lot of money on the xbox, but that they didn't care...they just wanted to get their foot in the door.

So to my mind, a few grand on a new machine these days is dirt cheap.
